Well its draft week and the panthers still hold that number one pick. What will they do with it? Who will they pick? The answer is still out there. No word on who the panthers will take. Not really sure either. It could be any of the top 5 guys. Netwon might be who most are throwing around, but who really knows. We will know at around 8:10 or 8:15 on thursday on who the panthers will take or even if they trade down. Its just monday so sit back and relax, read the rumors on twitter, facebook or other websites. I will be a panther fan no matter what. May not like the pick, but can’t see myself cutting ways as a panther fan. Just because cam netwon was picked.
You maybe wondering why there hasn’t been many blog postings as of lately. Well we have gone into lockout mode. Why write when the league is in lockout? This may change after this week. Wed is a key day for whats to come. I will update the site look and what not, but right now. After this post there won’t be many more until the lockout is lifted. Until than everyone have a wonderful next few days or even months. Oh we will cover the draft. So the 28-30th the lockout mode will be lifted.
Just wanted to post that the blogging will be back soon. Just took sometime off to enjoy life and stuff. A new look may come soon as well. Enjoy your night and the rest of the weekend. Here’s to getting a new cba deal done as well this week!
Hello follow panther fans. I took the pass week off from writing for some reason. No idea why i did that. Got a lot of stuff going on. Doing online school and other things. No i’m not going to shut the site down or anything. Might be at times during the offseason that i don’t write as much. If this happens, i will post some news stories thats already done. Once again thanks for following the panthersrush have a great day!
The panthers signed their dc,oc and stc today. There are listed below with a little write up about them.
Rob Chudzinski New OC – Worked with gates in sd and was once the oc with the browns. This may give what the fans want here. A wide open game plan. He was known to run alot of pass plays while with the browns. Also is good with te’s. The te spot will get better here.
Sean McDermott New DC – Former dc with philly. Don’t know that much a bout the guy, but sounds like a big signing for us. A upgrade to meeks sorry to say.
Brian Murphy Former STC with Vikings – Most vikings fans that i’ve talked to say this guy wasn’t that great of a stc. But he had the st’s in minn ranked in the top 10. This should be a upgrade at this coaching spot.
I’m sure there will be more coaching staff signings coming through out the week. Stay tuned for updates and news on our new coaching staff.
Thats right, its just a slow time right now with the news. I’m just waiting for any news or something that comes to mind. To write about here. So don’t think i’m being lazy with the site, because i am not. Just lack of things to really write about. Plus when you go 2-14. Theres not a whole lot of things to go on about.
Chud is in charlotte today for his hc interview. He might land the job right away, but who knows. Stay tuned for news on the interview through out today.
Thats right panthers fans. I think this was the right move. He will bring this fanbase back to life. Its already starting for the most part. Now its time to sit back and see who he brings in as the oc,dc and the other areas of the staff. He wants to win and put up points on the o side of things. On d he wants a attacking style and will use some of the 3-4 looks. This is the plus panther fans. Things sure are looking up for this team. Now its time to see what takes shape. Enjoy whats to come, becauses its going to be a good year to be a panthers fan!
Reports that the deal is done. More to come soon.
Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck, the odds-on favorite to be the No. 1 pick in this spring’s NFL draft, announced Thursday that he will stay in school and play his redshirt junior season. “I am committed to earning my degree in architectural design from Stanford University and am on track to accomplish this at the completion of the spring quarter of 2012,” Luck said in a statement. The school announced that Luck wouldn’t be made available for comment.
